The Pikes Peak Pickleball Association is dedicated to the promotion of pickleball, the fastest growing sport in the country. We have over 650 members and we play almost daily at the Monument Valley Park courts: See map here.
Pickleball is played on a badminton-sized court (indoor or outdoor) with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. It requires a perforated plastic ball similar to a wiffle ball and a flat-surfaced wood, composite, or graphite paddle about twice the size of a ping-pong paddle.
Nancy Steffy offers free lessons on Saturdays at 11:00 at the Wasson High School courts. Call her at 719.210.3041 to be included. Equipment (paddle and balls) is provided. You do not need to possess a certain skill level. Come join the fun!
