Mission

PPPA's Mission:

To promote the sport of pickleball in El Paso County, Colorado, through education, training and amateur competition.

PPPA has over 1000+ members and we play almost daily at the Monument Valley Park courts: See map here.

Pickleball is played on a badminton-sized court (indoor or outdoor) with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. It requires a perforated plastic ball similar to a wiffle ball and a flat-surfaced wood, composite, or graphite paddle about twice the size of a ping-pong paddle.

Nancy Steffy offers free lessons on Saturdays at the Roy J. Wasson Academic Campus, 2115 Afton Way, Colorado Springs, CO 80909. Call her at 719.210.3041 to be included. Equipment (paddles and balls) is provided. You do not need to possess a certain skill level. Come join the fun!
