GREETINGS FROM PPPA’S NEW TREASURER

Hello, fellow pickleballers!  I am Jeff Jensen, your new Treasurer.  I am a retired CPA.  My last paying gig was Chief Financial Officer of 4 Rivers Equipment, a John Deere dealer.  I have been in finance and accounting all my adult life and look forward to being a good steward of PPPA’s finances. 

I started playing pickleball a few years ago with some friends.  I am grateful there are no videos of our early games.  We thought to ourselves, “There’s got to be a better way to learn pickleball,” so we joined PPPA.  There is no finer place to learn the sport, improve your skills, meet new people, and have great fun playing the fastest growing sport in the country. 

My skill level?  Let’s just say my accounting skills are much better than my pickleball skills.  But nobody enjoys it more!
