  NEW RETAINING WALL CONSTRUCTION AT THE BEAR CREEK PB VENUE

Beginning Monday April 17 and lasting through the end of May, the old timber retaining wall will be replaced making way for stadium-like seating and the future sun shade structure on the West end of the PB courts. 

Although PB play will continue, close-in parking will be limited and will require overflow parking across Argus Ave north of the venue (see attached diagrams).  There will be a tape barrier placed across the parking area between the porta-potties and the adjacent tree to the west.

We appreciate your patience and support of this planned improvement for the benefit of our Association.

  SUMMER LEAGUES NOW OPEN FOR REGISTRATION!

This summer your leagues will be 6 weeks long and will start at the beginning of JUNE! Registration is open so be sure to sign up today!

We are thrilled to welcome back our MEN'S 4.5 league on Friday nights!

All competitive leagues will be entered into DUPR. Our social leagues will not, but having a DUPR helps determine which level you should play in.

Our format this Summer will be a simple Round Robin for ALL leagues, meaning you will play EVERY TEAM in the league. 

Each week you will play 2 of the teams in your league up to 3 times each. You will play for the best 2 out of 3 games. If a team wins the first two games, the third game is optional.

FIRST RESPONDERS AND MILITARY APPRECIATION TOURNAMENT MAY 5-7

This is a very special tournament for all of us here at Springs Pickleball as we are raising money for our brave military personnel and first responders. 

This event is being sponsored by Roberta Loughman of Remax Properties. She is generously giving $2000 in prize money, which Springs Pickleball is matching.

Players have chosen which team they wish to represent: 

Red - For the Fire Foundation of Colorado Springs 

Blue - for Shield 616

Army Green - for Mt. Carmel Veteran's Services

Individual points will be tracked, and the grand prize will go to the team with the most points on average. The grand prize will be $2000 to the winning foundation. Second place will receive $1400, and third place will receive $600. We will have representatives from each foundation on hand if you would like to come and make a personal donation to any one or all three of the foundations. 

If you are an early bird, we will kick off the Saturday Morning events with Color Guard and the National Anthem at 7:30 am. Please feel free to come by and enjoy the festivities, we would just ask as a spectator that you please park along Vondelpark and leave the parking lot for our players. Then please come to the upstairs mezzanine where you will have the best view so we can leave the court areas downstairs open for players to move about freely. 

Prizes for the three foundations will be presented on Sunday between 6:00 and 6:30 pm if you would like to come and see the presentation. We will end the tournament with Amazing Grace on Bagpipes by Patrick Malfitano.

PUNCHCARDS

We have a great deal for open play with our Summer Punchcards. Get 12 punches for $100 which is about $8.33 per open play, including PRIMETIME!!!

We also have punches for Lessons and Clinics if you are interested in upping your game.

Note: Punchcards do expire after 90 days so be sure to get all your summer play in and stay out of the heat!
