In an effort to keep membership data current over time, it is important that the contact information and skill level ratings shown on your account are accurate. 

This data is needed to help us better understand the demographics of our membership so we can continue to promote the sport of pickleball in El Paso County, attract new sponsors and provide programs that meet the interest of our members.

We are also planning a number of member recognition and appreciation programs next year and want to make sure that you are included!

A recent review of member accounts indicates that many individual and family accounts are missing birthdays, genders and/or skill levels.

Please take a moment to review and update your account THIS week, to be sure you’re not left out!

  NEW CREDIT CARD PROCESSING SYSTEM BYPASSES PAYPAL

Over the last several weeks PPPA has been testing a new credit card processing system.  We’re happy to report the test has been a success and PPPA will be using the new system going forward.  The new system integrates more closely with the PPPA website, and bypasses PayPal.  You will not need to set up a different username and password to submit a credit card charge – your existing PPPA username and password will work just fine.  You can choose to save your credit card to your PPPA account for future payments, if desired.  This information is not stored on the PPPA website - all credit card information is stored by the credit card processor, in strict accordance with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards). 

Your Board has heard the complaints some members have had with PayPal and we’re happy to say we have a solution!

MONEYBALL 

THIS EVENT IS FULL - Come watch the best players in Colorado Springs Compete at our MoneyBall Event on December 29th from 6-9 PM

This event is full, but spectators are welcome! We will be running drink specials - $3 Beer and $6 Wine & Cocktails. So come out and enjoy the competition!


Winter Leagues are Filling Up Fast

With all the hustle and bustle of the Holidays, don't forget to sign up for Leagues beginning the 2nd week in January.

We also have Women's and Mixed Flex Leagues (no partner needed). If you are interested in a Flex League, please log into the CourtReserve App and click the 2nd button down on the homepage that says 'Leagues' and then click 'List' and you will see the Flex Leagues that are available for your level. Then you can register directly through the app. Unfortunately because these leagues are run through CourtReserve, there is not a link available to have you sign up for this option but the process is quite simple through the app.
